Family Room Remodel Question by Love Life: Where do I start to remodel a large family room?
It is big and is really like two rooms side by side. The one side has a red brick fireplace and 2 navy leather charis, an end table and a lamp. To the left of that is the large addition, the whole thing is painted a light beige. The addition has a navy leather sofa to sit on to watch a TV that is flanked by 2 30 year old wooden blonde cabinets. It also has a piano and a wall of windows with just blinds, vinyl blinds. I really need some help here.

It seems that you’re looking for help with your furniture layout or decorating scheme. It doesn’t sound like you want remodeling help. Assuming that’s right, large rooms should be broken down into conversational clusters.
You already have 2 focal points – the fireplace and the TV/entertainment center.
